Description of the case before and after

Mastopexy without prostheses 

The importance of the breast in a woman's self-esteem is unquestionable.

A sagging or empty breast has a profound negative impact on a woman's self-esteem, with consequences for her personal, family and social life. It is very common after pregnancy or after several pregnancies for the breast to become droopy (ptosada) and/or empty.

A Mastopexy is surgery to lift the breast. In some cases, some breast tissue can also be removed to reduce weight and make the breast rounder. This surgery is performed under general anaesthesia, for greater safety during the operation. It takes place in a certified operating theatre.

Patients recover overnight at the clinic and usually return home the next day. Scars are treated according to the individual needs of each patient. Scarring does not occur in the same way in all patients. That's why we recommend regular appointments, after 1, 3 and 6 months, to assess the condition of the scars and to be able to indicate the best options, so that in the end the scars are as disguised as possible.

In this surgery, a very small amount of breast tissue was removed (around 100 grams on the right side and 150 on the left) and a technique was used that allows the breast to be lifted while maintaining a natural appearance.

This is the result six months after surgery.
