Description of the case before and after

Mastopexy without prostheses

Breast asymmetry is an alteration in which the breasts have a different size or shape. Asymmetry is almost always present in all women, but in some cases it is more serious. This difference can be the result of a change during growth or it can result, for example, from breastfeeding.

This alteration can be treated with a surgical procedure called Mastopexy. A Mastopexy allows you to lift drooping breasts and improve symmetry.

This lady was operated on with a general anaesthetic and specific nerve blocks so that she would wake up pain-free. She returned home the day after the operation.

After Mastopexy It is advisable to wear a post-surgical bra for a month and to have lymphatic drainage.
