Description of the case before and after

Mastopexy with prostheses 

It's very common for the breasts to become smaller and droopier after pregnancy. These changes often lower a woman's self-esteem, with implications for her personal and social life. These breast changes can only be treated with surgery, which removes excess skin and lifts the breast (Mastopexy) and increases the size of the breast (with breast implants).

A Mastopexy with prostheses is a surgery carried out in a duly certified operating theatre by a team of plastic surgeons, anaesthetists and nurses.

The surgery is performed under general anaesthetic and the patient returns home the day after surgery.

After this surgery, it is recommended to wear a post-surgical bra for a month, lymphatic drainage (two to three times a week) and rest for a week. Recovery is usually quick and painless.

The appearance of scars depends on the quality of the skin, the surgical technique and aftercare. Appointments after surgery are important in order to monitor the evolution of the scars and treat them so that they are as inconspicuous as possible. In this case, micro-textured, round, high-projection, 315cc prostheses were used.
