Description of the case before and after

Mastopexy with prostheses 

This lady wanted to recover the volume she had lost with her three pregnancies and also to have a "fuller" upper breast. In addition to the loss of volume, these three pregnancies also caused her breasts to sag. As her breast size was small, implants had to be fitted so that she could "fill out" the upper part of her breast.

A Mastopexy with prostheses. Round, high-profile, ultra-light prostheses were used (i.e. 325ml, but weighing only 241 grams). The prostheses were placed behind the muscle, using a technique called an internal bra, to help hold the implant in place. In this way, the implants don't rest on the skin, but on the muscle, which helps the breast not sag so much.

The surgery was performed under general anaesthetic and with nerve blocks, which allowed the patient to wake up pain-free and move her arms naturally just a few hours after the surgery.

The images show the result just two months after the surgery.

No result is definitive. The breast is always changing. The scars have been treated with creams, which help to make them as unnoticeable as possible.
