Mastopexy with implants RC9220221
Description of the case before and after
Mastopexy with prostheses
This is the surgery that allows the breast to be lifted and filled when it becomes droopy and empty after pregnancy and breastfeeding.
The size of the prosthesis is chosen according to the initial size of the breast, the final volume and shape that the woman wants and the characteristics of the breast skin. As the skin will continue to age and lose elasticity, it is essential to explain what results can be achieved. When the breast is very droopy, more skin needs to be removed and therefore more scars may be needed.
Each case is different, so it's not possible to recreate a breast like another woman's, but it is possible to improve the appearance of the breast that the woman has.
In this case, round, high projection, 275cc, micro-textured prostheses were used. This surgery is performed under general anaesthesia and the patients return home the following day.
It is recommended that they wear a post-surgical bra for 1 month, avoid exertion for 2 weeks and perform manual lymphatic drainage.
