Description of the case before and after
Mastopexy with prostheses
A Mastopexy with prostheses is the surgery that allows you to "lift" the breast when it is drooping and increase its volume ("fill it up when it's empty").
This surgery can be carried out in two stages (first do the Mastopexy and then later have the prostheses fitted to increase the volume) or in a single operation. Both ways have their advantages and disadvantages, which is why it's important to have a consultation with a plastic surgeon to find out which way best suits each woman.
In this case, the surgery was carried out in a single stage: Mastopexy and the placement of prostheses to increase the volume that had been lost. The breast was droopy and empty.
Micro-textured, round, high-profile 360cc prostheses were used. The volume of the prostheses is chosen according to the woman's body and her expectations. Six months after surgery.
