Breast reduction RC7060093

Before and after image of a patient who underwent a reduction mammoplasty to relieve the physical discomfort caused by large breasts and remove breast tissue in the armpit area, with the side-by-side result showing breasts reduced in size and proportional to the body, hardly noticeable scars and nipples reattached in a more centred way, one year after surgery.
Pre- and post-operative frontal image of a clinical case of a patient who underwent breast reduction surgery, formally known as reduction mammoplasty, to alleviate the physical and aesthetic discomfort caused by her large breast volume and to remove additional breast tissue found in the axillary area, with a total of 500 grams being removed from each breast. The post-operative photograph shows a significant improvement one year after the procedure, with breasts more in proportion to the patient's body and scars that are hardly visible, as well as better centring of the nipples.
Right profile image of a patient before and one year after a reduction mammoplasty surgical procedure, in which she sought relief from neck and back pain, discomfort and irritation in the breast crease caused by excess breast volume and the presence of an extra breast in the armpit region, resolved by removing around 500 grams of tissue from each breast, resulting in a breast shape that is more proportional and natural to her body, with centrally positioned nipples, almost undetectable scars and a noticeable improvement in appearance and well-being.
Front image of a clinical case of a woman before and after a breast reduction operation, showing a substantial change in breast size, as well as an improvement in the position of the nipples. The surgical process, which included the removal of supernumerary breast tissue in the armpit area, resulted in a natural and proportional body contour, emphasised by the imperceptible scars and the relief of various previous discomforts, such as back and neck pain. The image shows the positive result, 1 year after the surgical intervention.

Description of the case before and after

Breast reduction

This woman complained about the weight and excessive size of her breasts, which caused her neck and back pain, poor posture, difficulty choosing clothes that were practical and comfortable to wear on a daily basis and uncomfortable symptoms on hot days, such as excessive sweating, redness, itching and sometimes sores on the skin in the breast crease. These symptoms are very common in women with breast hypertrophy, i.e. an exaggerated breast volume.

In this lady's case, these changes worsened after she had been a mother three times. Her wish was to reduce the size of her breasts to a small size that would allow her to wear the clothes she had always wanted to, that would no longer cause her discomfort in the breast crease and that would improve her neck and back pain.

In addition to these complaints, the patient also had breast tissue in the armpit area, known as the supra-numerary breast. A reduction mammoplasty and the removal of the supra-numerary breast were carried out under general anaesthesia. In total, around 500 grams were removed from each breast.

The patient returned home the day after surgery. The images show the result 1 year after the surgery. We can see a very natural result, proportional to the woman's body, with scars that are barely noticeable and which has also made it possible to improve the position of the nipple (it was too far towards the outside of the breast and has become more centred in the breast).
