Description of the case before and after

BREAST AUGMENTATION

Many women complain that after pregnancy, and even more so after several pregnancies, the breast becomes empty and droopy.

In almost all of these women, these changes have a negative impact on their self-esteem, their personal relationships and difficulties in choosing clothes.

A Breast augmentation is surgery to increase the volume of the breast. This surgery is performed under general anaesthesia in an operating theatre. After the surgery, the patient recovers for a few hours in an anaesthetic recovery room and then spends the night in the clinic. The following day, the patient usually returns home.

During the recovery period it is recommended to wear a post-surgical bra, carry out manual lymphatic drainage and rest.

There are various techniques and many types of breast prosthesis. The preoperative consultation is fundamental to deciding on the technique and prosthesis that best suits each patient.

This surgery used the subfascial technique. The prostheses used were 295cc, round, micro-textured and with a high projection.
