Breast augmentation RC1540
Description of the case before and after
BREAST AUGMENTATION
A Breast augmentation is surgery to increase the size of the breast and improve its contour, in situations where the breast has not developed or when it has involuted, i.e. lost volume, as happens after pregnancy and breastfeeding.
It's very common for the breasts to become smaller and sometimes even droop after pregnancy. These changes have a very negative impact on a woman's self-esteem and this surgery is associated with a very significant improvement in self-esteem and quality of life.
The surgery is performed under general anaesthetic and the patient returns home the following day. After surgery, it is recommended to wear a post-surgical bra for 1 month, carry out lymphatic drainage for 2 weeks and avoid exertion for 10 days.
Recovery time depends a lot on each patient, but it is very often quick and with few complaints.
In this case, 375cc round, high-profile, nano-textured silicone prostheses were used. The surgical technique used was subfascial. The prostheses were placed through the breast crease. In this way, it was possible to increase the size and projection of the breast and improve the neckline, according to the patient's preferences.
