Description of the case before and after

BREAST AUGMENTATION

This lady, who was already a mum, would like to regain the breast volume she lost after breastfeeding. She would also like her breasts to be "fuller" at the top. One way to treat these situations is to make a breast augmentation.

In women who have already been mothers, it is usual for the skin to be more lax and, in these cases, the placement of breast implants will increase the weight of the breast and cause it to sag more and more quickly.

To help keep the breast from sagging so quickly, a technique called an internal strap or internal bra can be used, which allows the prosthesis to rest on the muscle. This technique allows the muscle to support the prosthesis instead of the skin. In addition, this technique allows for more natural results, avoiding the "ball" effect in the upper part of the breast.

The plastic surgeon should explain the possible techniques to the patient so that she can participate in the decision about which technique she considers most suitable for her.

The images show the result one year after surgery. Round, high-profile, micro-textured, 315cc prostheses were used, placed through the areola and behind the muscle. The breast looks very natural, with no signs of having been operated on; it is proportional in size to the patient's body and has a natural cleavage.
