Thigh Liposuction RC213104
Description of the case before and after
Thigh Liposuction
Excess fat and skin on the thighs is associated with a decrease in quality of life and self-esteem.
When there is a lot of excess skin, it has to be removed by cutting away the excess skin, which results in scars. The scars should be hidden as much as possible, in the inguinal area and on the inside of the thighs. Excess fat can be removed by liposuction. In some cases, the two procedures can be combined: skin removal (cruroplasty) and liposuctionwith the aim of treating the entire thigh.
In this case, the excess skin on the inside of the thighs was removed and the liposuction from the upper thigh to the knee and all the way round the thigh (360 degrees).
This surgery is performed under general anaesthesia. Patients stay in the clinic for two days after surgery. After surgery, it's essential to wear compression garments and do lymphatic drainage every day for about two weeks.
Scar care depends on the patient, so scars are assessed 1, 3 and 6 months after surgery.
A balanced diet and regular exercise are fundamental to maintaining and improving results. This surgery is associated with a great improvement in the quality of life and self-esteem of patients.
