Description of the case before and after

BREAST AUGMENTATION

A breast augmentation is a surgical procedure used to increase the size of the breast, improve its contour and enhance the harmony of a woman's body.

In this young woman's case, the breast had not developed sufficiently and was small in size. Her expectation was to have a breast with more volume, with a natural appearance and in proportion to her body. All these particularities were discussed during the consultation. As well as discussing the patient's expectations, a 3D simulation was also carried out to explain the possibilities and difficulties of this type of surgery. The 3D simulation is an important tool that aids the consultation, but never replaces it.

The physical characteristics of the patient, namely the initial size of the breast, its width and height, are decisive for the choice of implants and the surgical technique. In accordance with the patient's wishes and the technical possibilities, round, high projection, nano-textured prostheses with 315cc were chosen. The prostheses were placed through the breast crease. This type of technique allows the scar to be placed in a place that is difficult to see; it can only be seen when the patient lifts the breast, because it is in a natural fold of the body. The subfascial technique was used.
