Mommy Makeover® Breast augmentation + Abdominoplasty
Mommy makeover is a term used to describe a series of surgeries, usually one on the breast and one on the abdomen, for women who have already had children and have seen their bodies undergo negative changes as a result of pregnancy.
It's very common for changes to the breast and abdomen to have a negative impact on a woman's life, on her physical and emotional health, often with a negative impact on her self-esteem.
Various combinations of surgeries can be performed, depending on the changes caused by pregnancy. In this lady's case, after having her children, her breasts were empty and a little droopy. Her abdomen was left with a lot of excess skin. To treat the patient and repair these changes, a breast augmentation and a abdominoplastyat the same time.
These surgeries were carried out under general anaesthesia. The patient stayed in the clinic for 2 days and then returned home. The recovery period from such an operation is around 4 to 6 weeks. A breast augmentation was carried out through a scar in the breast crease. A subfascial technique was used to avoid the ball effect in the upper part and give the breast a natural appearance. Nano-textured, round, high-projection 255cc prostheses were used.
A year after the surgery we can see a natural result, with no signs of surgery. The scar is hidden in the groove; it can only be seen when the patient lifts her breast. The scar is narrow, very similar in colour to the surrounding skin and malleable. The appearance of the scars depends on several factors, such as the quality of the skin before surgery, the surgical technique and the care after surgery.
A abdominoplasty The scars are hidden inside the belly button and in the lower part of the abdomen, so that they are covered by underwear or a bikini.
